 Getting to Know Terry....Terry has lived in the Highlands of Haliburton all her life. In the early 80's Terry and her husband briefly thought they would move to Toronto, but their love of nature and all things green prevented them from completing their plans. Raised, literally, in a Chinese and Canadian Cuisne Restaurant, Terry started in the service industry and each job over the years has allowed her to hone her skills in providing top notch service to clients.
For 16 years Terry worked in long term care, working mostly with seniors and their families, helping them adjust to a new life style. In her management position she also was responsible for assisting with public tours, public relations, education and extensive administrative duties, including budgeting and finance. After eight years of commuting between Haliburton and Bracebridge, life presented a change...
Taking a position at Re/MAX Haliburton Highlands Realty Ltd., as the Administrator for the (at that time) three branch offices, Terry listened and learned - and her love of real estate blossomed. For two years Terry's knowledge of the real estate industry continued to grow until she had to take the dive into the career that was meant for her. She has never looked back!
Terry has been married for 26 years to John Carr and has two beautiful young adult daughters, both of whom are currently attending universities.
